144th Street Trail
Paved trail that follows the grade of the street, stretching up and down hills, to connect Standing Bear Lake in Omaha to Springfield, including Chalco Hills Recreation Area.
Visitors to our new facility in Omaha, Nebraska will have a chance to see the world’s largest Barn Quilt Block (17') and will be treated to a tour of the AccuQuilt offices. Ak-Sar-Ben Aquarium/Schramm State Recreation Area
Home to the exceptional Ak-Sar-Ben Aquarium, this 330-acre state recreation area located along the Platte River offers spectacular views, three miles of hiking paths, and an interesting history of fishing activity in Nebraska. The site of the state's first fish hatchery (1882), the old hatch house is now a fishing management museum. Inside the aquarium, 12 viewing tanks offer an amazing glimpse into underwater wildlife. Outside, nature's bounty provides the perfect spot for picnicking and exploring.

Bellevue Loop Trail
The Keystone Trail connects to the Bellevue Loop at Highway 370 and 25th Street. This trail runs through Haworth Park in Bellevue. Trailhead parking is at either 13th Street & Capehart Road or Harlan Lewis Rd.
Bellevue Pioneer Cemetery
A tour of this cemetery is a history lesson through time. View the final resting places of many of the families who pioneered Bellevue. Among those buried here are Fenner Ferguson, the first chief justice of the Nebraska Territory; Big Elk, a prominent chief of the Omaha tribe; and archeologist and artist Dr. Gilder.

Eagle Hills Golf Course
This 18-hole complex comprises two 9-hole layouts: The Links and The Meadows. The Links is an executive course built on a hillside and surrounding flatland. The Meadows is a par-3 course designed like The Links except without the uphill or downhill lies.
Built in 1856, the Fontenelle Bank today houses a unique collection of early Bellevue memorabilia including an original walk-in vault, exhibits depicting the city's history, and rare samples of Greek-revival Italianate styling. A year after the bank's founding, it closed, and the building became the Sarpy County Courthouse. In 1875 it became Bellevue City Hall.
Enjoy 1,400 acres of woods, wetlands, and waterways along 19 miles of walking trails, including two all-access boardwalks. Nestled amid the scenic bluffs overlooking the Missouri River, the forest offers spectacular scenery and an educational view into the area's wildlife and natural habitat. Fontenelle Hills Country Club
Built into the hillsides of the Fontenelle Hills area of Bellevue, Nebraska, Fontenelle Hills is a short, aesthetically pleasing course. It features heavily wooded narrow fairways, mainly of which have sharp hillside drop-offs along their edges. The turf is well-groomed and its large greens are in great shape.

New for 2017, is Sarpy County Tourism's Geocaching Trail! Explore the county like never before while searching for multiple caches in each town across the county. Each hide is a Gadget Birdhouse, take your time, and open the house appropriately. You must find 14 of the 15 geocaches and punch the appropriate location on the game card to receive your commemorative coin.
A 400 acre working farm on the largest oxbow along the Missouri River in Bellevue. Hidden Valley Driving Range
Historic Log Cabin
A treasure trove of history, this cabin is believed to have been built in the 1830s. The home has changed hands just a few times with only three families occupying it between 1856 and 1950. The most recent resident lived there for more than 50 years without indoor plumbing or electricity.

Situated high atop a hill overlooking the scenic Platte Valley, the Holy Family Shrine is a 23-acre site offering travelers a welcome spot for rest, relaxation, and reflection. The Keystone Trail connects to the Bellevue Loop at Highway 370 and Capehart Road. It is paved and very flat except for its underpasses which allow users to safely cross all major streets. Trailhead parking is at 48th Street and Cornhusker Road.

Offutt Air Force Base
The site of the U.S. Strategic Air Command (SAC), Offutt Air Force Base is regarded as one of the highest-level military installations in the nation. In fact, it was here that President Bush flew the day after the September 11 attacks in 2001. The base—home to the 55th Wing since 1966—supports several vital national defense organizations. The wing staff includes several hundred people who provide support in a number of areas including communications, logistics, operations, and mission support.
Old Presbyterian Church
Step inside this historic building and you're standing in the oldest church building in the state of Nebraska. Nineteenth-century oak pews, antique stained-glass windows, and summer gardens adorn the 150-year-old building.
Omaha and Southern Railroad Depot
Back in the mid 1800s, this depot was a hub for commerce and travel. Today, the building stands at a new location adjacent to the Sarpy County Historical Museum. Step inside and discover a pot belly cast iron stove, Morse code telegraph keys, an oak railroad station clock, oak station waiting benches, trunks, maps, pictures, and a station safe.
Papio Bay Aquatic Center
Jump into summertime fun via five acres of swimming and recreational resources. Enjoy the zero-depth pool, two waterslides, one- and three-meter diving boards, sand volleyball, a sand play area, grass or patio sunning areasa nd four baseball fields. Three fields have 300’ fences, while the other has a 390’ fence. Young children will especially enjoy the wading pool with a frog slide. Concessions and a bathhouse are also available.
